Team United States of America comprises freshman to senior students from FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team 12791, “Iterative Intentions,” from Flower Mound High School Tech Club in Texas. Over the past three years, Team 12791 has had the honor of competing at the FIRST World Championship, where they have earned numerous awards. This year was particularly significant as they won the prestigious Inspire Award at the World Championship, a recognition that earned them a coveted place in the Hall of Fame. Additionally, they achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the Jemison Division champions in the robot game.

Beyond their competitive successes, the team is deeply committed to promoting STEM within their community. They actively engage in various outreach events, aiming to inspire and educate young minds about the exciting possibilities in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Their initiatives include creating and mentoring new FIRST teams across elementary, middle, and high schools in their community, ensuring that the passion for STEM continues to grow and thrive.

This year marks their inaugural representation of Team United States of America, and they are filled with excitement and anticipation. They eagerly look forward to connecting with other FIRST Global teams worldwide, sharing their experiences, learning from others, finding solutions collaboratively, and building lasting relationships.
